Hi! I'm Lara Potma
Lara Potma is an industrial designer working across product, packaging and sensory experience. Her practice explores how materials, objects and everyday interactions can shape the way people communicate, feel and connect across cultural contexts. With a research-led and hands-on approach, she combines material exploration, prototyping and people-centred thinking to create design outcomes that are both practical and emotionally considered.
Drawing on industry experience in packaging design for global consumer brands, her work is informed by questions of intercultural communication, accessibility and sustainability. She is particularly interested in investigating how design can make complex or invisible human experiences more tangible, accessible and emotionally resonant.
